We refund the Formenzo service fee (AED 1,500) in full if the freezone authority rejects your application for any reason within their control — wrong activity classification, missing approvals, etc. Authority pass-through fees (already paid to the zone) are non-refundable per their published policy. Most rejections are resolvable with revised documents; we do a free re-application in those cases.

Standard KYC: passport copy (all shareholders), passport-style photo (white background), UAE entry stamp page if currently in UAE, address proof (utility bill or bank statement, last 90 days), and a brief CV / professional bio for regulated activities. Corporate shareholders also need certificate of incorporation, board resolution, and memorandum. The exact list per route ships with your PDF quote.

Yes — full refund of the Formenzo service fee until we submit your documents to the authority (usually within 24 hours of upload). After authority submission, the pass-through authority fees become non-refundable per the zone's policy, but our service fee is still refundable if you cancel before licence issuance. We always confirm timing in writing.

A freezone licence cannot be directly transferred to another zone — it's tied to the authority that issued it. You can wind down the existing licence and set up a new one in another zone. Formenzo handles both — and we credit the unused months of your original licence toward the new setup. Most clients who switch do so for visa-tier flexibility or banking-readiness changes.
